Due to Coronavirus and for the safety of patients as per current advice we are running a restricted service. Please telephone the surgery if you have a medical need.
Due to the current Covid-19 crisis, all GP Practices in the region working closely with NHS Dumfries and Galloway, have had to take the decision to change the way in which we deliver services in order to protect patients and staff.
Some non-urgent clinics and appointments will be suspended to allow GPs to focus on the most vulnerable patients with the most complex needs.
The Practice is open but all appointments will be by telephone initially with follow on face-to-face appointments arranged only if absolutely necessary.
Please do not attend the surgery unless you have a pre-arranged appointment made with the Practice.
GPs are able to deal with many problems over the phone and will be trying to deal as much as possible in this way. Please be reassured that if you need a GP, they will still be available to help you. The Practice staff may need to ask more questions to ensure you are dealt with in the safest possible way.
All prescriptions will be sent to your nominated chemist. For the safety of patients and staff please do not come to collect prescriptions from the Practice.
Please continue to order your medication as normal and do not order more than you need. We are currently not accepting any paper prescription requests. We, therefore, are asking if patients can please order via the repeat prescription line on 01576 205504 or alternatively repeat prescriptions can be ordered online via patient access. If you would like to sign up for this please call us to request a registration form to be sent out.
If you are experiencing any symptoms of covid and feel you need medical attention please phone NHS24 free on 111.
